Prestige Distributors

Prestige Distributors is based in Tri Nagar, over at Jai Mata Market 3465/1. It’s a busy wholesale area where there’s always someone loading or unloading a rickshaw. We handle distribution for a few different lines of goods, so the space is always full of cardboard boxes and packing tape. We spend a lot of our mornings checking invoices and making sure the right boxes go to the right shops. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside, which is nice. It’s a practical setup with some steel racks and a small corner for the accounts. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs because they wouldn't last a day here. Most of the time, the air is thick with the sound of the market outside. We’ve had this spot in Tri Nagar for a good while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. Some days the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, and we just have to wait it out. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep the inventory moving. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer for the records. People around the market know us, and we mostly deal with other business owners who are just as busy. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again the next morning without much fuss.
