Prem Plastic

You can find Prem Plastic at Khasra No 38, Street No 1, in Village Dabri, right off Pankha Road. The area is quite crowded with narrow streets and lots of houses packed together. Our shop is a simple building that we’ve filled up with all kinds of plastic items, like buckets, tubs, and kitchen containers. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. Sometimes the piles of plastic chairs reach almost to the ceiling, so you have to be careful when moving around. The floor is just plain cement and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for what we do. People from the village come in all day, looking for things they need for their homes. There’s always the sound of kids playing outside or motorbikes trying to get through the narrow lane. I’ve been running this place for a long time and I know most of the families around here by name. It’s a lot of work carrying heavy bags of goods and organizing the inventory, and it can get quite warm inside when the sun is out. But it’s a steady job and I like being around the community in Dabri. We don't have any fancy displays, just the products stacked up and ready for whoever needs them. It’s a basic, local business through and through, and it works for us.
