Pratap Singh Tomar

I am located at number 777 on the Tis Hazari Main Road. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment. From the window, I can see the constant flow of rickshaws, cars, and people heading toward the court gates. It is a very different feeling from being tucked away in the back wings of the complex. My space is straightforward and handles a lot of foot traffic because of where it sits. I usually open up in the morning and the first thing I do is check the post. The address is easy to remember, which helps when I have to tell people where to come. The building is sturdy but shows its age in the corners and the stairwell. I’ve got my desk set up where I can see who is coming in. I don’t really go in for modern decor or anything like that. It’s a workspace, plain and simple. Most of the people who stop by are in a hurry, which is just the nature of this area. There is always some sort of construction or road work happening nearby, so there is usually a bit of dust in the air. I keep a few chairs for people to sit while they wait, and there’s always a jug of water on the table. It’s a regular day-to-day life here, nothing too special but it keeps me busy.
