Down on Central Avenue in South City 1, you’ll find us at Prasuk Polymers. We’re quite easy to spot because we are right near Mayom Hospital, which everyone knows. The shop is usually full of different types of plastic goods and materials, sometimes stacked so high you can barely see the back wall. It’s a practical kind of place, built for moving inventory rather than looking pretty. We spend a lot of our time checking the deliveries that come in and making sure the local businesses get what they need for their own projects. The noise from the hospital area is always there in the background, with ambulances and people coming and going, but we just stick to our routine. Some days are long, especially when we have to count through a new shipment of polymer pellets or sheets, but we don't mind the hard work. The office area is just a small desk tucked between some shelves, usually piled with invoices and a half-empty cup of tea. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve grown used to the way the sun hits the front window in the late afternoon, making it a bit too warm for a while. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just provide the materials people ask for and try to keep our shelves stocked. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready.
