Prasha

Prasha is located in Malviya Nagar, which is one of those South Delhi spots that’s always full of life. We are right in the middle of it all. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s a casual atmosphere here, nothing like the high-end stores you might find in the bigger malls. We spend our time managing the stock and talking to the people who wander in while they’re out doing their shopping. Malviya Nagar has a certain energy, with the markets and the food stalls everywhere, and we feel like a small part of that community. We don’t use any complicated systems; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. The sunlight comes in through the front window in the afternoon and makes the place feel warm, though we usually have to keep the fan going full blast. It’s just a regular local business where we try to stay busy and keep things moving. We don’t have a team of people or a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks, from cleaning the shelves to answering the phone. It’s a simple life running a place like this in South Delhi. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here, and we’re just happy to be part of the local scene every single day.
