Prasar Bharati

Working over here at D1 782 in Harsh Vihar feels like being part of the local rhythm of Delhi 93. This is one of the Prasar Bharati locations and it’s pretty straightforward. The office isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular building among many others in this part of the city. We get a lot of paperwork and general broadcasting tasks that keep us busy from the morning until we head home. The street outside can get quite jammed with rickshaws and people moving about. It’s a lived-in area, nothing like those sterile office parks you see in other parts of the capital. We have a small staff here and we mostly just focus on whatever needs to be handled for the day. Sometimes the internet is slow or the heat gets a bit much, but we just manage. You can find us easily if you know the Harsh Vihar layout, though the numbering can be a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. We don't really do much in terms of decoration; it’s more about having a space to get the work done. Being part of a big organization like the broadcasting corporation means there’s always something happening, even if this particular branch is just a small piece of the whole thing. We just take it one day at a time here in the office, trying to stay on top of the files and the daily requirements.
