Prachi Polymers

Prachi Polymers is located over at 3184 in Pahari Dhiraj, which is part of the old Sadar Bazar area. If you know Sadar, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and constant shouting. We’ve been operating out of this space for a good while now, dealing with all kinds of polymer goods. The building is old and the stairs are narrow, so moving stock in and out is always a bit of a workout. We don’t have any fancy displays or air conditioning here; it’s just rows of boxes and the smell of raw materials. Most of our days are spent talking to wholesalers and trying to navigate the rickshaws blocking the entrance. It’s a very hectic environment and you have to be quick on your feet to get anything done. We don’t really do much advertising because most people just find us by walking through the market. Sometimes it gets so crowded outside that even a bicycle can’t pass through, but that’s just Sadar Bazar for you. We keep our records in thick ledgers and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s a family-style setup where everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. It’s tiring work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’ve been doing it so long it feels natural now. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure we don't run out of what people need.
