Poonam Plastic

Down in Narela at H-2155, you will find us at Poonam Plastic. Narela is a long way for some, but for us, it is just where we work every day. We deal with plastic stuff. It’s a lot of molding and checking parts. The machines make a steady humming sound that you get used to after a while. Sometimes the smell of melting plastic is strong, especially in the afternoons. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the orders go out on time. The floors are usually covered in little bits of plastic offcuts. We try to keep it tidy, but it is a factory after all. Being at H-2155 means we are right in the thick of things. Our neighbors are doing similar work. We talk to the guys next door during tea breaks. It’s a community of workers. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. If someone needs plastic goods, they usually just show up or call. We’ve had the same machines for a long time, and we know how to fix them when they act up. It’s a simple business. We work hard, we go home, and we come back to do it again. That is just how it is here at Poonam Plastic. We have been operating out of this same spot for years now and it feels like home. There are always stacks of crates and bags of raw material around the entrance. It’s busy but we like the pace.
