Plastic Components (India)

Our place is located at C/171 in Naraina Industrial Area Phase I. We go by Plastic Components (India). It is basically a shop floor filled with molds and machines that turn out all sorts of small plastic bits. You would be surprised how many everyday things need a specific plastic piece to work properly. We spend a lot of time checking the machines because they can get fussy if the temperature is not exactly right. It smells like melting plastic most of the day, but you get used to it after a week or so. The street outside is almost always blocked with delivery vans and stacks of wooden pallets. We have been here in Naraina for a long time. People come to us when they need a specific part made in bulk. Sometimes we have to tweak the molds a few times to get the shape exactly correct. It is a lot of sitting and watching the bins fill up as the parts drop out. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the neighborhood who know the rhythm of the place. We do not have a fancy office, just a metal desk tucked in the corner with a lot of paperwork and old ledgers. It is a steady life, just making sure the production line keeps moving without too many jams. Most days are the same, start early, finish late, and make sure the count is right before we lock up the gate.
