Our place is Plastic & Chemical Coatings, and you can find us at WZ 8/1 in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area. This area is famous for furniture, but there are a lot of us doing chemical and plastic work here too. We deal with various types of coatings. It’s a chemical-heavy environment, so there’s always a specific smell in the air that you get used to after a while. Our shop isn't a place for people who like to keep their clothes clean. We have vats and containers everywhere. We spend our time mixing things and checking the consistency of the coatings we provide. It’s a bit of a technical job, but we learned it by doing it for years, not from a textbook. The building is a bit old and the stairs are narrow. We’ve got a lot of barrels stored in the back that we have to move around with a hand trolley. Customers come to us when they need specific finishes for their products. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the senior staff answering the phone. We try to be honest about how long a job will take. Sometimes the chemicals are hard to source, and we have to tell people to wait. We aren't polished or corporate. We're just a small industrial unit in Kirti Nagar doing our best with what we have. It’s just us.
