Our office is located at 18 Mandapam Street in Thiruninravur. It’s a bit different from the big central offices you might imagine. This is a local spot where we handle specific tasks related to government planning. The building is fairly modest. We have a few rooms with basic furniture and some old computers. It gets quite humid here, so the windows are usually open to catch a breeze. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few people who live nearby and know the area well. Most days involve filling out forms and keeping records updated. It’s a lot of data entry and checking boxes. Sometimes people from the neighborhood stop by with questions. We try to help them out as best as we can. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Things move at their own speed here. We follow the guidelines we’re given and try not to overcomplicate things. The tea break is usually the highlight of the morning. We sit out front and watch the traffic go by on Mandapam Street. It’s a simple setup, but it gets the job done. We’ve been here for a while and most people around here know who we are. We just keep things running as smoothly as possible without any fuss. There is always more work to do, so we just take it one day at a time. It's just how we get through the week without too much stress.
