Planman

We operate out of New Delhi. Our daily life involves a lot of switching between English, Hindi, and Punjabi because that is just how the city speaks. The office is located in a busy part of Delhi where there is always something happening outside. It can get quite loud with the traffic and the local vendors calling out. We have a small space filled with desks and a few cabinets that are overflowing with old files. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. Delhi weather is always an extreme, so we are either freezing in the winter or sweating through the summer. We tend to eat our lunch together at a big wooden table in the back that we use for everything. There isn't any fancy decor on the walls, just a few calendars and some scribbled notes on post-its. We’ve been in this city for a long time and know the rhythms of the streets around us. Getting to work involves navigating the metro or the crowded roads, so we are usually a bit tired by the time we sit down at our desks. It’s a basic setup, nothing like those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home in the evening. There is always someone complaining about the traffic, but we still like being right in the middle of it.
