If you know Karol Bagh, you know how crowded Maharana Partap Market gets. We are at number 19, right in the thick of it. Pilot Plastics has been a part of this market for a long time. We deal with all sorts of plastic items, the kind of things people use every day but don't think much about. The shop isn't massive, so we have to use every inch of shelf space. Boxes are often piled up, and we are constantly moving things around to find what someone wants. It’s loud outside with all the rickshaws and people talking, but that is just the energy of this place. We open up in the morning and stay until late. Dealing with plastics means we see a lot of different people, from shopkeepers buying bulk to locals looking for one specific thing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just us and the stock we carry. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, either too hot or too rainy, but the market never really stops. We've seen the area change over the years, shops coming and going, but we stayed put. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives, but we manage. If you need something, you just walk in and ask. We don't do fancy displays. We just keep what’s useful and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s just a normal plastic shop in a busy market.
