Picasso Design

Our little design shop is located at R 50 in Phase I of Budvihar, over in Model Town. It is not a big studio with glass walls. It is a practical workspace where we sit and figure out how to make things look better. We have a couple of desks, some old drafting tables, and plenty of coffee mugs scattered around. We do a bit of everything when it comes to design. People from the neighborhood come in with all sorts of requests. We do not have a fancy portfolio on a tablet to show you. We usually just pull out some old prints or show you what is on the screen right now. We are not interested in being the trendiest place in town. We just want to do work that makes sense for the person paying for it. Sometimes we disagree on colors and stay late arguing about a font choice. That is just how we operate. The Model Town area is a good spot for us. It feels like a real community. We know the guy who runs the print shop down the road. We do not use a lot of industry jargon. If something looks bad, we just say it looks bad. We try to be honest and straightforward with everyone. It is just a few of us trying to do decent work every day. No big mystery to it. We just keep our heads down and try to get the designs right.
