Personal Finiancial Consltaant

Our little office is at 299 Nai Basti in Khurja. It’s part of the Bulandshar district. The sign out front says Personal Finiancial Consltaant—we know the spelling is a bit off, but we never got around to fixing the sign. It’s been that way for years and everyone knows it’s us anyway. The room is small and usually smells like old paper and ink. We have a couple of wooden chairs and a big desk that’s seen better days. Khurja is famous for pottery, but we stick to numbers and paperwork. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there’s always a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Mostly just calculators and ledgers and a laptop that’s a bit slow. People from the Basti drop by when they have questions about their money or some forms they need to fill out. It’s not a corporate bank environment. It’s just a place where you can sit down and talk about what’s going on with your finances without feeling rushed. We've been here long enough that we know the history of most families around here. We don't make big promises or use complicated words. We just look at the papers and tell people what we think. It’s a simple life in Khurja, and we’re happy to be part of the community here at 299 Nai Basti.
