Parveen Kumar

I work out of Tis Hazari, specifically at number 700 on the Main Road. If you know Delhi, you know how hectic the court area is. There is always someone looking for a document or running to a hearing. My place is right in the middle of that chaos. I’ve been here at Parveen Kumar for a long time. The office isn't very big, and it’s often filled with the smell of old paper and ink. I don't really have a fancy website or a marketing person. I just have my name on the door and a phone that rings more than I’d like. My day usually starts with a walk from the metro station, dodging the rickshaws. Once I’m in the office, it’s all about sorting through the piles of work on my desk. It can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but I’ve learned to manage. I usually share some snacks with the guys in the next office during the afternoon slump. We talk about the weather or how the traffic was that morning. It’s a simple existence. I don’t try to pretend to be something I’m not. I am just a man working in a busy court complex, trying to keep my clients happy by doing things the right way. People find me when they need help, and that is enough for me.
