Parmanand Gaur

Janpath 221 is where you can find me most days. It’s a well-known spot, right in the heart of things. Parmanand Gaur is the name I go by. Living and working around here means you see all sorts of people, from tourists looking lost to locals who have been here for decades. The street outside is always buzzing. Sometimes the noise gets to be a bit much, but you get used to it after a few years. My space isn't very large, but it serves its purpose for what I do. I’ve got my old desk and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on fancy decorations when the work is what matters. Most of my day is spent on the phone or writing things down. I usually take my lunch break at one of the small stalls nearby. The food is spicy and cheap, just how I like it. Sometimes my friends drop by just to chat for a bit, which is nice. It keeps the day from feeling too long. I’ve seen Janpath change a lot since I started, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down. But 221 is still here, and so am I. It’s a simple setup, nothing to brag about, but it’s mine and it works. I plan to stay here for as long as they let me.
