Parmanand Arya

Working out of C 78 79 in Lajpat Nagar is something I’ve gotten used to over the years. This part of the city is always moving, never really quiet except for maybe very late at night. My name is Parmanand Arya and this is just where I spend most of my daylight hours. It’s a busy spot, lots of people passing by on their way to the markets or the metro. Inside, things are a bit cluttered, I’ll admit. I have stacks of notebooks and things I need to get through. It’s not the kind of place where everything is shiny and new. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but who has the time for that when there is work to do? My neighbors are mostly nice, we share some snacks sometimes or complain about the traffic on the main road. I’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough to remember when there were fewer cars. Now, finding a place to park is like winning the lottery. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes through the door. It’s not a big corporate operation, just me and a couple of others trying to keep things moving. We don't have any fancy brochures to give out. If you need something, you just come in and talk. That’s how it’s always been here in Lajpat Nagar. We just keep doing our thing every day.
