Pardeep Kumar

This is another one of Pardeep Kumar’s locations, this time at 198 A on the Tis Hazari Main Road. Even though it is the same road as the other office, this end of the street has a slightly different feel. It’s still very busy with all the court traffic, but the buildings are tucked together a bit differently here. We have a small entrance that leads into a room filled with cabinets and desks. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t spend money on decorations or anything like that because we are usually too busy to look at them. The main focus is the work that comes across the desk every day. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors, each with something they need help with. The air is often thick with the smell of street food from the vendors outside. We usually have a quick lunch at our desks so we don't fall behind. Pardeep handles a lot of the communication himself. The walls are covered with calendars and some old notes we’ve taped up over the years. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The light from the street lamp outside stays on late, and sometimes we are still here when it kicks in. It is just a straightforward office where the work is the main priority. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just handle the business at 198 A.
