Pankaj Publication is located right in the heart of the city. You can find us at Shop No 3 in the old Regal Building. It sits right on Parliament Street in Connaught Place. Everyone knows the Regal cinema area, so we are pretty easy to spot once you get to that corner. CP is always a bit chaotic with all the traffic and tourists, but we have been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise anymore. The shop isn't very large. We have stacks of papers and books almost reaching the ceiling most days. It’s an old building, so it has those high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the Delhi heat. We spend most of our time sorting through orders and talking to people who walk in off the street. We aren't a big fancy publishing house with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us making sure things get printed and sent out on time. Sometimes the electricity acts up because the wiring in these old buildings is a bit temperamental, but we manage somehow. Parliament Street is a busy place to work, but there is always something interesting happening right outside the door. We have been part of this market for years and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. It’s just a honest day's work for us, and that is plenty for our small team.
