Our shop is located in Shiv Market, which is right in the middle of Acharya Niketan in Mayur Vihar-2. It’s a busy little corner of Delhi. Moving houses or offices is a messy business, and we’ve been right in the thick of it for a long time. Our space at Plot No. A-2 is usually filled with rolls of bubble wrap, old cardboard boxes, and rolls of brown tape. You can usually hear the sound of tape being pulled if you walk by the door. It’s a small team here. We spend our mornings loading up the trucks and our afternoons trying to figure out the best way to navigate the Delhi traffic. People get really stressed when they have to move, so we see a lot of worried faces, but we just get on with the packing and moving. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just a practical place where we keep our supplies and wait for the next call. Sometimes it’s a big house move and sometimes just a few boxes for a student going back home. The market outside is always noisy, which we’ve grown to like over the years. We have been in Mayur Vihar for years now, and we know these streets better than most. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but it’s a living for us. We just try to be careful with the glass items and keep things moving along smoothly.
