Packdrome International

Our business, Packdrome International, is located at 218 Sector 12. It is a modest place where we handle packaging and international trade stuff. The office is usually cluttered with samples and rolls of tape. We aren't fancy people. We just spend our time making sure that things are packed correctly and ready to be sent out. Sector 12 is a good location for us because it’s easy to get to. We’ve got a couple of heavy desks and some shelves that are starting to sag from all the weight of the catalogs. Most days start with us checking the overnight messages and seeing what needs to be moved first. It is a lot of physical work sometimes, moving boxes around and checking labels. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you just get one of us. We talk about shipping rates and box sizes more than anything else. It can be repetitive, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a shipment go out the door on time. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult or the trucks are late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’re just a small crew working out of a basic office, making sure the international side of things stays moving without too much trouble. We just focus on the boxes and the labels every single day.
