I am based over in Kalkaji at C 24, which is a place many people in the area recognize. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very much like a community here. I have been doing my work from this address for a long time, and I have seen the streets change quite a bit over the years. My office is just a part of the building where I can sit down with people and talk. It is a very simple space with a few chairs and some of my papers spread out on the desk. I don't really go for any of that modern office decor, I prefer things to be comfortable and familiar. Neighbors often stop by when they are out for a walk or running errands. Kalkaji is a busy part of Delhi, but my little corner stays relatively peaceful most of the time. I spend my days answering the phone and meeting with whoever has an appointment. It is just me here for the most part, handling everything from the paperwork to talking to the visitors. I like being in a place where people know my name and where I can help out without things being too formal. It is a regular job and a regular life, and that is exactly how I like it to be. No big team, just one person trying to do honest work every day and helping out the folks who live nearby with whatever they need. It is simple but it keeps me busy and connected.
