P S Bindra

I spend most of my life at Tis Hazari, specifically in the Western Wing, room 236. If you’ve ever been to the courts in Delhi, you know exactly what it’s like. It’s crowded, noisy, and there’s always someone in a hurry. My office is just a small space packed with files and books that have been there for years. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decor or soft carpets. It’s a working office, plain and simple. I’ve been P S Bindra for as long as I can remember, and this is where I do my business. People come in with all sorts of issues, looking for advice or just wanting to get some papers signed. I don’t use a lot of legal jargon if I can help it because people just want to understand what’s going on with their cases. The tea here is strong and the fans are always humming. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different wings of the building. Some days are longer than others, especially when the court calendars are full. I don’t have a big staff, just the essentials to keep the files organized. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where the work happens. You see all sorts of people here, and you learn to just take things as they come without getting too worked up about the chaos and the heat.
