P R Electronic Inverter is located at number 45 in the Old Lajpat Rai Market. If you know Delhi at all you know this market is always packed with people looking for all kinds of electronics. We have been here for a good number of years now. Our main thing is inverters and batteries because the power goes out more than it should around here. The shop is tucked away among many others so you really have to look for the sign to find us. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the heavy batteries stacked up on the floor but we make the space work for us. We spend a lot of our time testing units and fixing circuits that have burnt out or got damaged. It’s dusty work because of all the old parts and the traffic in the market outside. We don't have a big team just a couple of us who know how these machines work. When someone comes in with a broken inverter we take a look and tell them if it’s worth fixing or if they actually need a new one. The summer months are always our busiest because everyone wants their fans to stay on when the lights go out. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some are regular mechanics and others are just homeowners looking for a fair deal. We keep it simple and don't use any fancy talk.
