Oviya Interior Decorators

Our shop is tucked away in Karol Bagh on Faiz Road. It's a busy part of Delhi. We do interior decorating, mostly for homes around here. It's messy work sometimes. Samples of fabric and wood chips are everywhere. We started Oviya Interior Decorators because we liked fixing up spaces. It's not always glamorous. Sometimes we spend hours arguing over a shade of paint. The address is 16 67 68, which can be hard to find if you aren't looking closely. We don't have a big showroom. Most of our work is done at the client’s house anyway. We use basic tools and local materials. We don't try to follow every single trend. We just do what looks good and works for the people living there. The traffic on Faiz Road is a nightmare, so we try to get our deliveries done early. It’s just a few of us working here. We’ve known the neighbors for years. We aren't trying to be some famous design studio. We just like seeing a room look better than when we started. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them. That’s just how it works when you're working with your hands. We keep our tools in the back room and there’s always a layer of dust on everything. It doesn’t bother us much. We just focus on the project at hand and try to make sure everything fits right before we leave for the day.
