Osr Shipping

Our shipping office is located in Ayur Vigyan Nagar in New Delhi. It’s a pretty standard place to work from and we’ve been here for a good while. Shipping isn’t always the most exciting business but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There are always papers to file and phone calls to make to check on where things are in transit. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and get things organized. The weather in Delhi can be quite tough, especially in the peak of summer when the air conditioning has to work double time just to keep us from melting. In the winter, it’s the opposite and we’re all bundled up in sweaters while we sort through the manifests. Being in Ayur Vigyan Nagar is convenient for us since it’s a central enough spot. We usually just grab lunch from the local stalls nearby or bring something from home. It's a small team here and we all know each other's habits by now. We don’t really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just show up, see what needs to be moved or tracked, and handle it. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Most of the day is spent looking at screens or talking to drivers, which is just how it goes in this industry.
