Orient Longman Pvt Ltd is located over at F 13 Jagatpuri, on Street No 11 right off Parwana Road in New Delhi 110 092. This place is mostly filled with books and paper. We have been in the publishing world for quite a while, and our office reflects that. There are stacks of manuscripts and finished books everywhere you look. It’s a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. Being in Jagatpuri means we are right in the thick of things in New Delhi. The noise from Parwana Road is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We spend our days reading, editing, and making sure things are ready for print. It isn't a fast-paced environment like some offices, but there is always a lot to do. We don't really go for big corporate speeches. We just care about the books we put out. Sometimes a shipment arrives and the whole place gets even more crowded with boxes. We have staff who have been here for years, and they know the history of what we’ve published. It’s a lot of tradition mixed with the daily grind of the book business. If you walk down Street No 11, you’ll find us easily enough. We aren't trying to be anything other than a solid publishing house. It’s just regular work with words and paper, day in and day out.
