We are over here at House Number W28 on Bhagat Singh Street. It is right in the Babarpur area of Shahdara in Delhi. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets around here. Our spot isn't some fancy glass tower. It’s just a regular building in a street that’s always full of people and noise. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the window for a bit until the backup kicks in. The street outside has a lot of life. You can hear the rickshaws and the street vendors yelling all day long. It's a bit loud but you get used to it after a week or two. Getting here in the morning is a bit of a struggle because the traffic in Shahdara is something else. Most of us take the metro and then walk or grab a quick rickshaw for the last bit. The office inside is simple. We have our desks and a small corner for tea and snacks. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe, but we don't mind too much. It's where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, someone brings snacks from the market nearby to share around four o'clock. It’s not corporate and it’s not flashy, just a place where we get through the day together. We like the local vibe of Babarpur.
