On My Own

On My Own is run from E 416 in Greater Kailash Part 2. Being in this part of New Delhi means we are in a fairly established neighborhood. The office is basically just a room in the building where I keep all my stuff. It’s not a big company with lots of staff, it’s exactly what the name says. I spend most of my time here dealing with whatever needs doing that day. Sometimes that means answering a lot of emails, and other times it’s just sorting through documents. The area is usually quite busy with cars parked everywhere, but inside it’s pretty quiet. I don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign out front. It’s just a place to get work done without any distractions. I’ve lived and worked around Delhi for years, so I’m used to the pace of things here. In the afternoons, the sun hits the window and it gets a bit bright, but it’s a nice spot. I don't follow a strict corporate schedule; I just work until the tasks are finished. It’s a simple setup with a desk, a chair, and a laptop. People usually call before they come over because it’s not a walk-in kind of place. It’s just a small, independent operation trying to stay on top of things in GK 2. It isn't much, but it's enough for me.
