Om Plastic

Om Plastic is tucked away at number 44 in the Paharganj Industrial Area. If you know the area, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and lots of small businesses. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. There’s always the smell of plastic in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the neighborhood who’ve worked here for years. It’s a noisy place when the machines are humming, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a sales team or any of that. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the seniors taking calls and writing down orders in a big ledger. We still use paper for almost everything because it’s easier that way. The floor is usually covered in scraps, but we sweep up at the end of every shift. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we don't complain much. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. Customers come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we don't play games with prices. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate. If it isn't broken, why fix it? That’s our thinking here at Om Plastic. Just a local shop doing local work for the people who need it. It is what it is.
