Ntpc Ltd

Our office is located at C 30 in Ujjwal Nagar, which is the Ntpc Township in Sipat. This is over in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. It’s a fairly standard setup for a township office. We occupy the C 30 unit, and it’s where we do all the daily management tasks for Ntpc Ltd in this area. The neighborhood is mostly other people working for the company, so it’s a friendly enough place. Inside, we have a couple of desks pushed together and some shelves for all the manuals and documents we need to keep on hand. It’s not a huge office, but it fits the three or four of us who are usually here at the same time. We get a lot of mail delivered to the Ujjwal Nagar address, and the courier guys know the route well. The Sipat area is a bit of a drive from the main city of Bilaspur, but being right here in the township is convenient. We have a small fan in the corner that rattles a bit, and the windows look out over the street where kids play in the evenings. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of workspace. We just focus on getting the reports done and handling the local logistics without much drama. It’s been our base for a couple of years now, and we’ve gotten used to the layout and the local rhythm of the township. It stays quite busy during the week.
