Nrdc is located in Vikas Puri, specifically at 324 Himgiri Apartment. We are right on the Outer Ring Road, so there’s always the sound of traffic in the background. It’s a residential building, but we use this apartment as our base of operations. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. We have a few rooms set up with computers and files. Most of our work involves research or dealing with development projects. It’s a lot of reading and writing. We don't have a big sign outside. You just come to the apartment and we’re there. Vikas Puri is a busy area with lots of markets and families. We usually go out for lunch at one of the local spots nearby. The team is small, just a handful of people who have been working together for years. We know each other's habits well. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get our work done properly. Sometimes the lift in the building breaks down and we have to take the stairs, but that’s just part of the day. We keep it simple. No fancy furniture or expensive coffee machines. Just some good people trying to do decent work every day. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. We just focus on the tasks we have on our desks and try to stay organized. That’s how we’ve always managed things at Himgiri.
