Nokia Corp is based here at A 24 Vishwa Apartments in Sector 9, Rohini, Delhi. Being in an apartment complex means it’s a bit different from a standard office building. We’ve turned this space into a functional work area. It’s a bit tight when we have a lot of deliveries arriving, but we make it work. Sector 9 is a decent area with plenty of life around it. We’ve been in these apartments for a while now. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down as much as possible. The rooms are filled with desks and some testing equipment. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the apartment number on the gate. It feels more like a home office than a big corporation. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep going. The Delhi summers are tough, so we’re thankful for the cooling we have in the main room. We don't have a HR department or a big canteen. It’s just a small group of us handling the local business. We get our work done, file our reports, and that’s the end of it. It’s a quiet way to run things, and we like the independence of this setup. It keeps us focused on the tasks instead of the politics you find in bigger offices.
