You can find our factory at Najafgarh Road Shivaji Marg 70. It’s a pretty standard industrial building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have the molding machines running most of the day, and the sound is quite something when they are all going at once. The smell of melting plastic is just part of the atmosphere here. We have stacks of raw material bags near the entrance and finished crates piled up by the loading dock. Shivaji Marg is always busy with trucks, so getting our deliveries out can be a bit of a challenge in the afternoons. I spend most of my time on the floor making sure the machines aren't jamming up. The heat from the heaters is quite intense, especially during the Delhi summers. We usually have a few fans blowing, but they don't do much. The crew here is mostly local guys who have been working with plastics for a long time. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a small industry making parts that people need. Sometimes the molds need cleaning and that takes up a whole afternoon, which slows everything down. But that’s just the nature of the business. We keep the ledger in a small office at the front that stays a bit cooler. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we’ve managed to stay at number 70 for a good while.
