Our shop is at number 101 in Choudhry Market. To get to us, you have to go down Peerwali Gali in the Patparganj area. It’s one of those narrow lanes that is always full of people and scooters. The market is very traditional, and shop 101 is just a small space where we keep our items. It’s not like the big, bright jewelry stores you see in the malls. We have older wooden counters and some stools for people to sit on. Patparganj is a crowded part of the city, and Peerwali Gali can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We spend our days behind the counter, talking to the neighbors and the people who walk in. There’s a lot of noise from the market outside, but we don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. We keep our records in a simple ledger and use an old calculator. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We don’t have any big marketing plans or fancy slogans. We just open up the shop in the morning and wait for people to come in. Being in Choudhry Market means we are part of a community of traders who have been here for years. It is a very simple and practical way to live.
