We are located on the third floor of building 9 25 in South Patel Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood in Delhi and finding a parking spot is always a challenge. Nexgen Capitals Ltd is where we handle the banking side of things, but don't think of it like those big banks with marble floors. Our office is a lot more grounded than that. We have desks piled with forms and documents because that’s just the nature of merchant banking. It’s a lot of numbers and checking things twice. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always packed with people. The elevator works most of the time but sometimes we just take the stairs to save time. We have a small team here. We’ve known each other for a long time so we don't really bother with formalities. We just get on with whatever needs doing. Clients come in and we sit down with them over some chai to discuss their requirements. It’s a practical way of doing business. We don't have those fancy slogans or mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s steady work and it keeps us on our toes. We like the pace of this area even if it gets a bit loud. The office can get a bit stuffy in the summer but the fans keep us going.
