Newgen International Limited is run by Karran Kumar here in Delhi. We don't really have one of those massive office buildings with a glass front. Instead, it is a more personal setup where things are handled directly. Karran spends a lot of time on the phone or responding to those emails, making sure everything is moving along as it should. It is a pretty straightforward operation without all the layers of management you find in bigger companies. We do a lot of international-related work, which means sometimes the hours are a bit odd because of the different time zones. You might find someone working late into the night or starting very early in the morning. The workspace is a bit of a mix of personal items and business equipment, which gives it a lived-in feel. We don't worry too much about having everything looking perfect for visitors because we are usually too busy getting the actual work done. It is an honest way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks that need finishing each day. There isn't any corporate talk here, just regular people doing their best to handle the day's emails.
