We are located in Palam Vihar, Block B, at House Number 1213. This is in Gurgaon, so as you can imagine, the area is always changing. Our office is basically a house that we’ve converted to work out of. It feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We help people who are looking for new jobs or trying to figure out what to do with their careers. We have a lot of students and young professionals coming through the door. The front room is where we sit and talk to them. It’s often a bit noisy because we’re right near the street and people are always honking. We have a small table for tea and water for whoever stops by. Our files are mostly digital now, but we still have stacks of resumes sitting around. It’s a busy place, and we’re usually juggling three things at once. We don't wear suits or anything like that; we just dress like regular people. We try to give folks practical advice about where the jobs are. Sometimes we stay late when someone needs extra help with their paperwork. It’s a rewarding kind of work, even if it gets a bit chaotic at times. New Horizon Career Channel Pvt Ltd is just us trying to help the local community in Gurgaon find their footing in the workforce.
