Neha Bhalla

I am based out of 643 7 in Govindpuri which is part of the Kalkaji area in New Delhi. This part of the city is always moving and there is never a quiet moment. Neha Bhalla is just the name I use for the work I do from this small office. The room is quite packed with books and folders that have built up over the years. New Delhi 19 is a busy pin code to be in and you can feel the energy of the city right outside the door. The building is one of those typical ones you see in Govindpuri with narrow entrances and a lot of neighbors close by. I spend a lot of my time at the desk answering emails or talking to people who stop by. The summer months are tough because it gets really hot and the fan just moves the warm air around. I usually have a bottle of water and some snacks nearby to keep me going. There is no corporate structure here or anything like that. It is just me and the occasional help I get to keep things running. I like the fact that I am in the heart of a local neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else. It makes the work feel more real than being in some distant office park. I just keep at it day after day.
