We have been sitting here in Munirka for a while now, right at House 367 B 1 in Room 203A. It is quite easy to find if you know where the JNU main gate is because we are just opposite that. The building is usually busy with people coming and going. Most days start early with someone opening the windows to let the New Delhi air in, though sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much. Inside, it is just a normal office with desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. We handle career-related stuff mostly, helping people figure out their next steps or sorting through papers for them. Navigator Career Care Pvt Ltd isn't some fancy high-rise operation. It is more about sitting down and getting through the work that piles up on the table. There is always tea being made somewhere nearby, and the smell of it drifts in around eleven. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just wait it out. People drop by without calling sometimes, which is fine, although it can get a bit cramped in the room when three or four people are waiting. We try to keep things organized, but you know how it is with folders and files everywhere. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood here. We see the same faces walking by the gate every morning. It’s just us doing our bit day after day in this little corner of the city.
