National Institute Of Smart Government

We are based out of Flat Number 154 in Rama Apartment, which is over in Sector 11 of Dwarka. It’s a residential area, so our office has a bit of a different feel than those big glass buildings you see in other parts of Delhi. Working from an apartment means things are a bit more compact, but it works for what we do at the National Institute Of Smart Government. We spend most of our time here looking into ways to help the government use technology better. It’s a lot of data, a lot of planning, and quite a bit of sitting around a table trying to solve problems. Dwarka is a nice enough place to work, even if the traffic on the way in can be a pain during the morning rush. The building is usually quiet during the day since most of the residents are out, so we can get a good amount of work done without too many distractions. We have our computers set up and a small area for meetings when officials come by to discuss new projects. It isn’t a fancy corporate headquarters, just a practical space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. We handle a lot of emails and phone calls throughout the week, trying to keep everything moving forward. It’s just our daily routine here in the apartment, making sure the work gets finished and the projects stay on track without making a big fuss about it.
