Nan

This is Nan, located at House No 64 in Bhai Paramanand Colony in Delhi. It’s a residential area mostly, so our business feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We operate right out of the house. It makes the commute very easy, though it does mean work and home life tend to blur together quite a bit. Bhai Paramanand Colony is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. You can hear the vegetable sellers calling out in the mornings and the kids playing cricket in the alleyways in the afternoons. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a desk, a computer, and a lot of notebooks. We do whatever work comes our way. Sometimes it’s busy, and sometimes we have time to sit on the porch and watch the world go by. People stop by for a chat more often than for actual business, but that’s just how it is here. Delhi is a huge, fast city, but in our little colony, things move a bit slower. We’ve lived here for years, so House No 64 is well known to most of the delivery guys. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area. If the door is open, you can just walk in. We just try to get through our tasks and enjoy the neighborhood. It’s a good, honest way to live and work. We have a small garden in the front that my mother takes care of, and it’s the nicest part of the whole place really, especially when the flowers bloom in spring.
