We've been operating out of Galli Satte Wali in Roshanpura for quite some time now. If you know Nai Sarak, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops squeezed together. Our place at number 3923 isn't huge, but it stays busy from morning till the shutters go down at night. Most days start with unloading crates and checking what stock came in overnight. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day trades, talking to people who walk in looking for specific items, and making sure the ledgers are updated. Being in such an old part of Delhi means things move fast but the way we do business is still pretty old school. We drink a lot of tea while dealing with suppliers. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with rickshaws that it's hard to get stuff moved, but that's just how it is here. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. People know where to find Surya Kiran Traders because we’ve been at this spot long enough that the neighbors all know us. We deal with various goods depending on the season and what's in demand. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we like the routine of the market. There's always someone coming by to chat or check prices. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they need without too much fuss.
