Mukund M Chitale Co is tucked away in Mahavir Enclave in New Delhi. It’s a residential sort of area, so it’s not as loud as the main city center. Our office is part of the neighborhood fabric. We’ve been operating from here for some time now, just handling the daily grind. We don’t have a big receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if you come in, you just pull up a chair by the desk. We do a lot of paperwork and phone calls. That’s the bulk of our day. New Delhi is a big place, but Mahavir Enclave feels a bit more like a community. We see the same faces every morning when we open up. We aren’t looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job so people don’t have to worry about their files. It’s practical work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of stapler pins, and someone has to run out to the shop. It’s all very normal and human. We don’t have a polished website or a big marketing plan. We just stay at our desks and work through the list of things to do. It’s been this way for years and it works for us. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, right here in the enclave. It is nothing too special, just honest work.
