Mukesh Chand Co

I’m with Mukesh Chand Co and we are based at 2149 Street Ravidas in the Teliwara area of Delhi. This is an old part of the city and it feels like it. The streets are narrow and always full of people, carts, and noise. Our building at 2149 is old too, but it’s sturdy and has served us well. We’ve been operating from here for many years. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find glass elevators or modern art on the walls. It’s a working office and storage space. We have old wooden desks and shelves that have seen better days. But it works. Living and working in Delhi means you get used to the chaos. Sometimes the delivery trucks can't get down the street because it's too tight, so we have to carry things by hand. It’s just what you do. I handle most of the daily tasks myself along with a couple of guys who have been with me forever. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done for the day, and go home. People in Teliwara know us. We are just part of the neighborhood fabric now. If you’re looking for us, look for the old sign near the corner of Ravidas Street. We’re usually inside drinking tea and checking the ledgers before we close up for the night.
