Our place is right in the middle of the Shakarpur Main Market at B 66. If you’ve ever been to Shakarpur, you know it’s a crowded and loud place with people everywhere. We are a music company, so being in a noisy spot doesn't bother us much. We have a small studio setup in the back where we do our recording. It’s not a world-class studio with expensive marble floors. It’s just a room we’ve soundproofed as much as we could with foam and curtains. We’ve got a couple of microphones, a good computer, and some speakers. People come in to record songs or to talk about music distribution. It’s a very informal environment. We usually have music playing in the office while we work on the business side of things. The market outside has some great tea and snacks, which we get almost every day. We aren't a big record label with a lot of employees. It’s just a small team of us who enjoy working with sound. Sometimes the street noise still gets in, and we have to record a take again, but that’s just part of being in Shakarpur. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just work with artists and try to get their music heard. It’s a lot of trial and error, but it’s what we do.
