Our workspace is actually inside the Mahi Hostel at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. We’re in Room No 20. It's a bit of a unique spot for a business, being on a university campus and all. We do translations and transcriptions. It can be quite quiet in the hostel during the day when students are at class, which is good for our work. We spend a lot of time listening to audio or reading through documents. It’s mostly just sitting at a desk with headphones on. Being in JNU gives the place a specific kind of feel. It’s not your typical corporate office park. We have a lot of books around and simple furniture. The room isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. Sometimes the campus is very busy with events, other times it's very peaceful. We like it here. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People usually just find us when they need something translated or typed up. It’s a small-scale thing. We just focus on the words and making sure things are written down correctly. It’s straightforward work. We’ve been here for a bit and it suits us just fine. If you’re around the university, you might see us. We have a small lamp on the desk that we use when it gets dark early. It’s a cozy enough little corner of the hostel for the work we do every day.
