Monster Com

Working out of 135 Neelgiri Apartments in Rohini Sector 9 is a bit different than being in a big glass office building downtown. Since we are Monster Com, people expect us to be in some massive skyscraper, but we find that being here in the apartments works just fine for what we do. It feels more like a home base than a corporate site. We deal with a lot of New Delhi's job seekers and it’s a constant stream of information coming in. The rooms are filled with computers and filing cabinets, and there’s always someone on the phone explaining how to upload a profile or search for a specific role. Sector 9 is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our mornings going through the latest postings and making sure everything looks right on the site. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we try to stay focused. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always one more email to answer. The kitchen area is where we usually end up talking about our weekends or the traffic on the way in. It’s a very grounded atmosphere here at Neelgiri Apartments. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture or coffee machines; we just want to get the work done and help people find their way into new jobs.
