Mohit Kumar Sharma

You can find Mohit Kumar Sharma at Tis Hazari Main Road 268. Like most places around the courts, it is a hive of activity from early morning until late. The office is small and filled with the smell of old ink and paper. I usually start the day by clearing off the desk because things tend to pile up by the end of the previous day. There is a lot of coming and going. People pop their heads in to ask questions or to drop off documents. The street outside is always crowded with rickshaws and people walking fast. I have a small stool I sit on when I need a break, looking out at the chaos of the road. It’s a lot of work but it’s what I know and I am used to it. The files are kept in metal cabinets that squeak every time you open them. I should probably oil them but I never seem to find the time. We have a calendar on the wall where I mark down the days. It’s a simple office without any fancy decorations. Just the necessities like a good pen, plenty of paper, and a light that works well. Some days are longer than others depending on how much there is to get through. We just take it one step at a time and do what needs to be done. It is a quiet life inside a loud street.
